RENO ltd. + 01 Thurman are across the East Coast this September, don't say nobody warned you.
RENO ltd. are a Meanjin/Brisbane four-piece band fusing slacker, shoegaze and post-hardcore into a volatile, cathartic sound. In support of their third single, Milk Crate, the band completed their first East Coast tour, including selling out their first interstate headline show at The Old Bar with Good Music Online.
Gearing up to release their debut EP in September 2026, RENO ltd. continue to build momentum both on-stage and off. Their track, Don't Vote For Politicians It Only Encourages Them, received support from triple j's Home and Hosed and In The Pit programs. RENO ltd. have also become a mainstay on community radio stations around Australia including 4ZZZ, 2SER, Triple R, Three D and SYN Media.
01 Thurman is the Magandjin indie rock project of Josh Bartlett. The band emerged with a steady output of home-recorded demo tapes, quickly developing a cult following with a sprawling lo-fi sound that delves into dissonant post-punk as much as it does noise pop. Their reputation is built upon their recordings as much as it is their whirlwind live act - 01 Thurman Band perform on a knife’s edge, a wall of chaos and catharsis that’s hard to predict. An alluring live presence that’s landed them on lineups with both local and interstate heavyweights, it’s not always pretty - but that makes it beautiful.
Pretty in Pink - album launch for 'Delicates'.
Naarm / Melbourne’s Pretty In Pink releases ‘Delicates’, a collection of tender, guitar-driven songs exploring love, loss, motherhood, and transformation.
Blending lo fi-pop melodies, post-punk minimalism, and indie DIY spirit, the album delivers a set of short, sharp, and emotionally resonant songs that recall the best of 1980s indie and guitar pop. Evoking comparisons to the jangling sounds of early Flying Nun and the melodicism of bands such as Black Tambourine, ‘Delicates’ offers a listening experience both nostalgic and new.
Sylvia - Shy pop songs done loud / Melbourne shoe gaze meets post punk at its finest.
Terrible Muriel - the loud and proud queer, feminist, post-punk love child of Naarm-based musicians Cinta (drums, lead vocals), Emmy (bass) and Kate (guitar). Inspired by riot grrrl icons Sleater-Kinney and women-led bands like The Breeders and Veruca Salt, Terrible Muriel’s all-original gigs are selling out venues, as loyal crowds devour the band’s juicy harmonies and catchy melodic hooks.
The Sam Curtis Collective is the freshest new roots/rock band from Naarm/Melbourne.
Since starting the project in June of 2024 the trio, led by frontman and guitarist Sam Curtis and joined by Micheal Haynes (Drums) and Noi Harte (Bass), have been working away at honing their live and recorded sound. Combining acoustic grooves, blaring slide solo’s and a love for performing into an exciting and youthfully raw sound.
