Ant Gallery are making their Melbourne debut! Joined by local faves Gaia Scarf & Monnie :))
Ant Gallery put folk, rock and alternative music in a blender with a sprig of funk to make something earthy, groovy, and deceptively nutritious. Their earthy originals serve up heaping helpings of lush harmony, chorus-y unison, lyrical pathos, quirky guitar licks and driving bass lines. Recipients of the Gill Rees Young Musicians award & finalists in the Infinite Song Contest at the 2025 National Folk Festival, you can't help but feel the groundswell underneath Ant Gallery is rising.
Is that one person singing? Or two? A live double-track? Come see for yourselves!
Gaia Scarf weaves multiple threads of influence into the tapestry of her sound. Harnessing Folk story-telling, Indie honesty and Soul-filled vocals, her music is an open invitation to feel it all.
Using lyrical catharsis as a means to understand the arcane, Gaia treads personal yet shared ground as she sings on identity, love, family, grief and the ache to belong.
Monnie, a multi-hyphenate musician & producer, aims to connects and expand. Art exists only in context. Drawing from juxtaposing inspirations of classical and dance/EDM music, & her experience with dream pop, shoe gaze and punk rock, monnie wants to show you how everything can connect.
Get ready for a night of folky, funky, dream pop-y fun!
