- Harvey Town is the Melbourne singer songwriter, frontman keys player you didn’t know you needed.

Working his way through the piano man circuit belting out rock classics in South Melbourne, to comping jazz piano in the North, Harvey fuses Jazz, Pop, Funk and Rock in new ways through original songs with a killer live band that you just can’t sit still for.
Deriving influence from Elton John, Cory Henry, and Stevie Wonder, Harvey exudes passion with every lyric sung and every chord struck to bring together music that lights a fire in your soul (or under your bum).
Harvey has played all over town in numerous venues across Melbourne from the Espy, Piano on Chapel, IVY, Bodriggy, 303 and Ragtime Tavern. Whether there’s 5 or 500 people, Harvey blasts his new music like you’ve heard it 1000 times before for a night of fun, fear and funk you won’t forget.

Leitmotiv Limbo is the sonic of Elijah Värttö; builder of abstruse instruments from industrial springs on burnt timber, and analogue electronics of specific visceral effect. Primitive yet eloquent, approximating a form, blank minimalism and fibrous textures. Tracing forms of industry, rough ambience, minimal (not)techno and rhythmic noise. Flickering with incident.

Absurd Cosmos Late Nite is Mark Groves (Index Clean, Voice Imitator, Red Wine and Sugar). One party monopolises the conversation, the other dissociates. One is all too present in the moment, the other dreams of departure. One voices their disappointment in the table service, the other ruminates on whether the Caramelised Barramundi or the Mongolian Beef will allow for a more rapid exit. The author occupies both roles.

Za Noon is the alias of Melbourne artist Jess Zanoni. Known as the frontwoman of alt-rock band Arbes, Za Noon is Jess’s solo venture into intriguing, incandescent alternative folk & pop. Her debut record evokes the shifting tides akin to connection, in romance, and with the world— both inner and outer. Za Noon music attempts to embody the ineffable, a tender and spirited measure of felt time and place.

Ruby Milner is a singer-songwriter from Melbourne, with roots in country/folk, later influenced by jazz and indie-rock sounds. Her writing combines classically inspired progressions with careful and honest lyricism, inspired by musicians such as Joni Mitchell, Adrienne Lenker and Rufus Wainwright.

do the bed are a five-piece alt-folk rock band. Their music is slow, rhythmic, and a bit rough around the edges — folk at the core, with a darker, heavier feel. Just songs they like playing.

BIO:
DIY multi-instrumentalist Buddy J Francis makes psych rock that adds a dash of other genres such as hip hop and folk while throwing in some tongue-in-cheek comedic bits for good measure.

In a recording sense he operates like Mac Demarco and Kevin Parker (Tame Impala) – tracking each instrument personally. Each track takes months of work.

Live performances are more like a thespian Tash Sultana - using a loop pedal and multiple instruments while performing as several different characters (each with their own costumes and personalities).

Called an ‘endearingly audacious’ artist who makes ‘psychonautic scuzz’ by A&R Factory.

Headlining the day are Elo and The Shinkicks, bringing their energetic, no-frills rock to the stage. Main support Blondehouse offer up their signature blend of grunge and alt-rock, full of emotion and vulnerability. Opening the show are Badass Broadcasters, kicking things off with a fun, fast-paced set of garage rock tunes.

Fresh off the release of their new single 'Take Me Up', Firm Filters return for a winter gig at the iconic Nighthawks bar. Also performing is indie folk/rock/pop singer-songwriter Emma Yue and up-and-coming band LEGROOM.

Firm Filters are a three-piece indie rock band formed in Naarm/Melbourne. Taking influence from folk rock, heartland rock, punk, new-wave and classic pop, their set is based around frontman Brad Woodward’s original songs. Completed by warm bass lines from Jason Renehan and passionate drumming from Rory Day, Firm Filters’ songs tell the story of youth, love, struggle and everyday life. Their debut album arrives later this year.

Major Bummer are a Melbourne based guitar-focused supergroup of bedroom geniuses featuring members of many bands that toured the planet and became so beloved that when they broke up the world Eternal Sunshined themselves, which is why it might feel like you have never heard of any of them. 

The follow up to debut Party Time album (Heart Trouble) is a huge sonic leap forward - now with added synth AND guitar solos - and is due out later this year. 

To promote the release of 2nd single Gummy Bears, Major Bummer toured the Western U.S. in their northern fall.

When a certain Major Bummer's mother-in-law asked for a little groovy guidance about medicinal candies she'd heard about in her Mahjong game, The Bummers gave pause...

After their first tour in January 2024, they’re back this time hitting both coasts, alongside a smokin’ roster of local and interstate supports. Their “First LP” was a beloved release from renowned Victorian label Legless Records and now they hit us with a split with Melbourne kings Elvis 2. Hope you freakos are ready.

There’s a track here called “Ciapa Male,” and it’s just choppy and relentless rock’n’roll that could burn for a full hour without getting old. It’s the kind of debut with so much power, so many major songs, and so many different vibes packed into one album, it feels like a star turn for Iannarella.
