Feeding Fauna is the solo project of Louise O'Reilly (Lunar Dirt, Laneway). This second album, The Headland, was written in a fishing shed in Iceland where the concept of blowing out single frame images with not-quite-forever reverb, looped 808s and layered vocals created a collection of synth-pop bangers in a cohesive glacial world. Playing the album live with Shem Allen the launch tour is accompanied by a limited edition clear vinyl pressing of 100 copies.
The Melbourne show at Nighthawks features the patient melodic improvisation and explorations of Mug and the modular wizardry of Aeon Hakyavik.
