​At the age of 14, Amalia gained recognition as a finalist on 'The X Factor Australia' in 2016, leading to opportunities such as being a support act for Eurovision Contestant Isaiah Firebrace and performing at televised events like the Adelaide 'Carols by Candlelight.'
